The Doctoral Programme in Architecture, like all the doctoral programmes coordinated by the ESDUVA, has a clear vocation for internationalisation, both internally and externally. On the one hand, the programme aims to be open to the outside world, and to receive as many students as possible from other countries, preferably Spanish-speaking but by no means exclusive. On the other hand, according to current regulations, the ESDUVA provides for the award of the ‘International Doctorate’ (https://esduva.uva.es/en/international/international-doctorate/), and in order to promote and facilitate the internationalisation of its academic offer, the University of Valladolid also encourages doctorates in international co-supervision (https://esduva.uva.es/en/international/international-thesis-co-supervision/). In order to facilitate international mobility, there are various grants, both its own and those offered by various national and international organisations (https://esduva.uva.es/en/phd-students/scholarships-and-grants/mobility-grants/), including the Erasmus+ Internships for doctoral students (https://esduva.uva.es/en/international/erasmus-internships/).
