In the case of students who have not completed the Basic Master of Research in Architecture of the UVa (M.I.A.) or another Master of similar characteristics, the Academic Committee, after evaluating the student's curriculum, may mark the need for complementary training that will consist of taking some subjects of the Modules of the M.I.A., which is organized as follows:

The criteria to be followed would be:
(a) A student coming from an architect's degree or title should only take two subjects (10 ECTS) from one of Modules 2, 3 and 4, as determined by the Academic Committee, depending on the topic of his/her doctoral thesis.
b) A student who does not come from a degree or title of architect must take one subject (5 ECTS) from Module 1 and two subjects (10 ECTS) from Modules 2, 3 and 4, as determined by the Academic Committee, depending on the subject of his/her doctoral thesis.
