In accordance with the provisions of RD 99/2011 (amended by RD 576/2023), the Academic Committee may require the completion of specific training complements to access the programme.
These specific training complements must be passed during the initial period of development of the thesis, within a maximum period of one academic year, and will be carried out within the MIIA (Master's Degree in Research and Innovation in Architecture. Intervention in heritage, rehabilitation and regeneration) taught by the Valladolid School of Architecture, in the following subjects:
- Innovation in architectural theory and architectural projects (5 ECTS, 1st term).
- Innovation in construction and technology (5 ECTS, 1st term).
- Innovation in urban planning and architectural representation (5 ECTS, 1st term).
- Workshop (6 ECTS, 2nd term)
The programme's Academic Committee will determine the complements to be taken depending on the training and experience accredited by the candidate. As a general criterion, those who lack relevant research training or experience must take a minimum of 6 ECTS (if they have an official university degree in architecture) or 10 ECTS (if they have an official university degree in other disciplines related to architecture).
